What this policy covers

This policy applies to information collected through aquaguardmanagement.com, our email correspondence, our quote and contact forms, and any subsequent service relationship between you and Aqua-Guard Management, Inc.

We are a family-owned commercial pool management company based in Schaumburg, Illinois. We do not sell or rent personal information.

What we collect

When you submit a quote request, contact form, or employment application, we collect the information you choose to provide. That typically includes your name, email address, phone number, the property or facility you're asking about, and any details you share about scope, timeline, or current pool service.

When you visit the site, we collect standard analytics data through PostHog and Google Analytics: pages visited, referring source, approximate location, device type, and timing. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to filter automated submissions on our forms; Turnstile may set short-lived browser tokens for fraud prevention.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry. Quote and contact submissions are routed to the named team member best positioned to follow up. Chris and Matt handle proposals, Patricia handles hiring, and Adan handles service questions.
• To prepare written proposals. Facility details you share are used to scope a written proposal and for the operating record if you become a client.
• To improve the site. Aggregated analytics help us understand which pages help boards make decisions and which need rewriting.
• To comply with the law. We retain records as required by Illinois business and tax law, including IDPH facility documentation for clients.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we use to run the business: our email host, our CRM, our payroll and benefits administrator (for employees), our analytics providers (PostHog, Google Analytics), our captcha provider (Cloudflare), and our hosting provider (Vercel and Supabase). Each of those providers is contractually bound to protect the data we send them.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing.

Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics, fraud prevention, and to remember preferences within a session. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site functionality (forms, captcha) may not work if all cookies are blocked.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the information we have on file for you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we're legally required to keep). Email chris@aquaguardmanagement.com with any privacy request and we'll respond within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect the information you share with us, including HTTPS for all site traffic, role-based access on internal systems, and encrypted storage for client records. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users promptly if we ever experience a breach involving personal information.

Children

Our site is intended for adult HOA board members, property managers, homeowners, and job applicants 16 or older (the minimum age for lifeguard certification). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date at the top of the page and, for material changes, post a notice on the site for at least 30 days.
