Lifeguard Certification
For those candidates who are new to our organization or those employees returning, we offer training and certification programs to ensure you are prepared for your job as a lifeguard or pool manager. These programs follow the nationally recognized StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Training curriculum. Details of our Lifeguard Certification & Recertification courses are provided below. To register for either of the courses below, please follow the link at the bottom of the page.
Classes are open to employees only and are ultimately free of charge to anyone who fullfills our summer work agreement. This agreement includes working an average of 15 hours (3 shifts) a week for the agreed amount of weeks during the summer pool season. You will be reimbursed at the end of the summer pool season. Please register online in the store for your chosen class dates and call for further details.
Course Descriptions
New Starguard Certification (NEW)
Description:
- Become Starguard certified in Lifeguarding, Basic First Aid, and CPR.
- This course is for students who have NOT been certified under Starguard previously.
Course Fees:
- Certification fee is $200.00 paid by cash or check at class or online by credit card. (A 3.9% charge fee will be added for credit card payment, increasing the cost to $207.80.)
- Course fees include new book & certification card
- Payment is due at time of registration online with credit card, may be brought to the first day of the course in the form of check, cash, or credit, OR we have a payment plan option to have it automatically deducted every other week (those who opt to the payment plan will not receive a physical copy of their certification until it is paid off)
Starguard Recertification (RECERT)
Description:
- Recertify under StarGuard.
- This course is for someone that has been previously certified under StarGuard.
Course Fees:

What To Bring To Class:
- Swim suit and towel- plan to be in pool each day
- Book (If recert)- New participants will receive book first day of class
- Lunch or money for a lunch
- Pen/pencil, paper for notes
- Good listening skills
Course Outline:
- Register online for a certification course.

- We will register you for the online course which must be completed 48 hours prior to the in person portion of the class.
- Attend one of the in person courses below, test off, and become certified.
